MAISON ROYERE
Created by Vladimir Markovic, representing the estate of Jean Royere, Maison Royère aims to breathe new life into the work of one of the most audacious French designers of the twentieth century.
Drawing on extensive archival research, Maison Royère had produced some of the creator’s most iconic and most unusual pieces of furniture, reflecting his innovative spirit as well as the excellent craftsmanship that characterized his prolific production.
The French company, based in Paris and run by Benoît Delmaire, enlisted the skills of the most talented French artisans to guarantee the highest quality for its collection. The techniques, as well as the natural, noble materials, were selected to present Jean Royère’s work in today’s contemporary world, connecting the past with the present and overcoming the boundaries of time.
Each Maison Royère piece showcases a singular skill, elevated by the decorator’s powerful aesthetic: the very best quality fabrics for the Polar Bear sofa, the straw marquetry at the heart of the Flaque tables, the ironwork for the Lianes series of lamps. All have become iconic pieces that combine craftsmanship with innovation, inspired by a spirit of freedom.
