It was created to celebrate the indigenous artistry of the ancient Laotian jacquard hand looms and wonderful fibers from that region. The brand also explores the beauty and wonder of hand woven fabrics using naturally sourced fibers in Laos. All the fibers used such as cotton and silk are handmade, and the ultra-durable naturally grown jungle vines are found in the rain forests of northern Laos. The vines are harvested seasonally and made into micro threads for weaving by artisanal techniques. The Indochine debut collection has been carefully edited in order to highlight the organic and natural beauty of the fibers produced by the hand looms. Each fiber is meticulously selected and combined with another to maximize the lustrous outcome.
